Our next fixture is in the summer cup, away to Solihull Vikings, faceoff is at 18:00 at Blue Ice Solihull Rink. Widnes Wildcats can now announce that we have entered the Hull 2015 Tournament, which is over the weekend of Sat 6th and Sunday 7th June.
Wildcats winter classic loss
The Wildcats played the Wild on 28/12/14. A tough first period saw the Wildcats hanging on at the end a goal down 3 - 2. Going into the second period, a 4th line was introduced and saw us slip further to 5 - 3 behind. In the 3rd period we brought on our second keeper Barry Sprakes, we would go on to not score a goal in the 3rd, ending the game with a respectable 8 - 3 loss. It was a great team effort against the Wild with particular mentions for MVP Barry Sprakes and Fico, who was our sole goalscorer with a hat-trick.
